Healthy High-Protein Kosher Shawarma Bowl Recipe
Treat yourself to a taste of the Middle East with our Healthy Kosher Shawarma Bowl.
Ingredients:
¾ tablespoon cumin
¾ tablespoon ground coriander
¾ tablespoon turmeric
¾ tablespoon paprika
¾ tablespoon garlic powder
Teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
4 chicken breasts, sliced
Lemon juice
Olive oil
1 large onion, sliced
Israeli salad
Hummus
Tahini
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a bowl, mix together cumin, ground coriander, turmeric, paprika, garlic powder, and salt.
Add the sliced chicken breasts to the spice mixture and toss until evenly coated.
Drizzle lemon juice and olive oil over the seasoned chicken.
Place the chicken and sliced onions on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is browned and slightly crispy.
While the chicken is cooking, prepare your bowl with Israeli salad and hummus.
Once the chicken is cooked, plate it with the Israeli salad and hummus.
Drizzle tahini over the chicken.
